Tsubaki Iberica Power Transmission SL recently moved to a new location that is bigger, increased storage area and can offer better service. This move is an important step for the company to grow and meet customers' needs.
Precision engineered roller chain specialist, Tsubaki, is presenting its range of long life, durable chains for the packaging industry at the Hispack exhibition, Barcelona, 24-27 May. Tsubaki will show its gripper chains for form, fill, and vacuum seal wrapping applications, as well as specialist chains for long-life when lubrication cannot be applied, and corrosive environments. Tsubaki will be located on stand 243, street B, hall 3, Fira Barcelona.
Roller chains used to drive food packaging machines have to ensure stable motion. With produce destined for demanding supermarkets, conveyors driven by roller chains must maintain the quality of packaged produce, as well as high throughput. A French food manufacturer turned to Tsubaki to provide a roller chain that would not just reduce maintenance requirements and replacement costs, but also contribute to increased productivity.
There are four versions of Tsubaki's well proven BS/DIN European Standard Chain for use in corrosive environments. Each version is designed to outlast standard chains and provide a cost-effective operating solution across the widest range of operating environments, including low temperature, sanitary, outdoor, wet and humid atmospheres. With lower operating noise and lube free options there is a chain type in this range that will be ideal for most applications.
A French sawmill has reduced its overhead costs while decreasing downtime and maintenance hours by upgrading its roller chain. The sawmill conveyor's standard chain, which had a lifetime of just six months, has now been replaced by a Tsubaki Titan Chain. Designed for heavy duty applications and use in adverse conditions, the Tsubaki chain is set to lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
