Business Development Specialist
Fulltime (37,5 hrs)
As a Business Development Specialist based at our European headquarters in Dordrecht, you will work in close cooperation with External Sales, Inside Sales, and Marketing colleagues. You will develop new opportunities based on growth strategy and provide direction to sales on our power transmission business. In addition, you will support the New Business Development Centre in the Headquarters Japan and research new business opportunities together.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Contributing to the development of sales and marketing strategies, annual business plans, and go-to-market strategies
- Developing new product-market combinations and case studies through market research and analyzing commercial performance
- Developing and enhancing sales tools and tactics to enhance the sales process
- Intensive monitoring of the sales pipelines so that the right potential customers are approached at the right time with the right tools
- Working closely with both the external sales team, inside sales team, and marketing team

Are you an ambitious, active and driven Business Development Specialist? With your critical eye, your confidence and strong work ethic is sales your first nature?
You will have several years of experience in business development, and you have the following qualifications:
- Experience in sales of technical products preferable power transmission products;
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation;
- Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal;
- Experience communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders;
- Knowledge and experience in CRM system (preferably 'Salesforce');
- A higher professional education (HBO) in business or a related field;
- Knowledge and experience in CRM system (preferably 'Salesforce');
- Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills;
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills;
- Good proficiency in Dutch and English language, both written and verbal;
- Proficiency in German language desirable;
You will gain basic product knowledge by following an internal technical training.
